LOGISTIC AND PRODUCTION CAMPUS

The project area is an approximately 430,000 m2 plot of land owned by the company Valsir S.p.A., located south of Brescia near the municipality of Ghedi. The area is located in a strategic position, 15 minutes from the MI-VE motorway junction and 10 minutes from the Brescia Montichiari airport.

The project proposal originates as the recovery of a former wartime industrial area, regenerated to a sustainable industrial culture based on circular economy principles. In the area will rise a campus of logistics, production and tertiary services designed according to the highest European standards.

An intervention that makes harmonious insertion in the territorial and natural context its main element of enhancement and contributes to a new and more conscious culture of production in Europe.

The new Logistics and Manufacturing Campus in Ghedi is proposed as an architectural complex that is the result of a balance between production and industrial needs, a correct environmental insertion and a sustainable building approach. The organisation of functions within the Campus is structured in continuity with the generator axis, defining functional zones.

Urban and architectural design coordination: JDP architects (Joseph Di Pasquale, Paolo Labbadini, Diana Ranghetti, Carlo Caserini, Paola Sacchi, Teresa Valente).

Urbanisation works and environmental analysis: Ingegneria & Ambiente
