2020-2024 Bergamo, Italy
Chorus Life, Smart District
Chorus life is an innovative smart city and an urban regeneration model, that is founded on social, technological and environmental values. It pursuing objectives of social inclusion, improving the quality of life, and environmental sustainability. Chorus Life is a tree generational urban campus and a city model for the third millennium.
The project, that is now under construction in Bergamo (Italy) and will be finished by 2024, will cover the regeneration of an urban plot of about 150,000 square meters, alongside the restoration of the social fabric of the district, with a disruptive approach based on “relational density”.
Inspired by theme parks’ design, JDP Architects’ futuristic model aims, in fact, to overcome the Functionalist City paradigm based on the binomial functional zoning-transport systems, to integrate different functions and generations, and to favor socialization as the main foundation of sustainability.
