Chorus Life, the great project awaited throughout Italy

Since 20 November, the city of Bergamo has been transformed with the inauguration of the new smart city Chorus Life, an urban redevelopment project that promises not only to change the city's skyline, but also to become a meeting point for the community. This iconic urban complex, designed by renowned architecture firm JDP Architects, is the new bet of the Italian context that pursues objectives of social inclusion, improved quality of life and environmental sustainability. Chorus Life is a three-generation urban campus and a model city for the third millennium. The project, realised in the city of Bergamo (Italy) and completed on 20 November 2024, realises the regeneration of an urban plot of over 150,000 square metres, together with the restoration of the social fabric of the neighbourhood, with an innovative approach based on ‘relational density’. Inspired by the design of theme parks, JDP Architects' futuristic model aims to transcend the Functional City paradigm based on the combination of functional zoning and transport systems, integrate different functions and generations, and encourage socialisation as the main foundation of sustainability.
